झारखंड/छत्तीसगढ़: नोटबंदी ने आम लोगों को बेहाल कर रखा है. और जिनके पास काला धन है, वे रोज़ काले को सफ़ेद करने का नया तरीक़ा इजाद कर रहे हैं. नक्सल प्रभावित इलाक़े भी इन दिनों काले को सफ़ेद बनाने की प्रयोगशाला में तब्दील हो चुके हैं.

ख़बर है कि नक्सली अपने प्रभाव वाले इलाक़ों में ग़रीब आदिवासी ग्रामीणों में 500 और 1000 के नोट बांटकर उनके ज़रिए से पैसे बैंक में जमा करा रहे हैं, जिन्हें निश्चित अवधि के बाद बाहर निकाल लिया जाएगा.

New Delhi: Creating “Muslim as the enemy” to mobilize the Hindus and manufacture a conflict between the two is the primary aim of the RSS-BJP government in the country, a meet organized by people’s movement ‘Satyagarh Abhiyan’ here today observed. It demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the October 31 Bhopal encounter in which one police constable and eight other undertrials were killed. The meet was attended by Gujarat Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani and Shamshad Pathan, and expressed concern over politics of “fake encounter” in India.

A prisoner dies every 5.5 hours in India: Report

New Delhi : A human rights group on Tuesday said one prisoner dies every 5.5 hours in Indian jails and that there are three times more mentally ill and 61 per cent more women prisoners in the country compared with the figures 15 years ago.

More than 60 per cent of the inmates lodged in Indian jails are awaiting trial, a number less than only 17 countries in the world, Commonwealth Human Rights Intiative (CHRI) said here.
