केंद्र सरकार की अनदेखी और ख़तरे में एएमयू का किशनगंज सेन्टर

किशनगंज (बिहार) : बिहार के किशनगंज में अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी (एएमयू) का सेन्टर राजनीति के मकड़जाल में उलझ कर रह गया है. इस केंद्र के लिए जो जगह दी गई है, वह महानंदा नदी से सटी हुई है. हालत ये है कि महानंदा के कटाव-क्षेत्र में ही इस केंद्र का एक बड़ा हिस्सा उपयोगिता के लिहाज़ से बेकार हो चला है. और जो पैसे इस केंद्र के नाम पर आवंटित किए गए थे, उनसे किसी भी ठोस कार्य की शुरूआत नहीं की जा सकी है.

वाराणसी : बीते दिन उत्तर प्रदेश की राजनीति में एक बड़ा फेरबदल करते हुए सपा सुप्रीमो मुलायम सिंह यादव ने मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव और अपने भाई रामगोपाल यादव को छः सालों के लिए पार्टी से ही निष्कासित कर दिया है.

इसके एक दिन पहले मुलायम सिंह यादव ने समाजवादी पार्टियों के प्रत्याशियों की सूची जारी की थी.

लेकिन बड़ी खबर यह है कि समाजवादी पार्टी के आधिकारिक फेसबुक पेज पर न मुलायम सिंह यादव द्वारा जारी की गयी प्रत्याशियों की सूची के बारे में कोई खबर है, ना ही रामगोपाल यादव और अखिलेश यादव के निलंबन की कोई सूचना मौजूद है.

Agartala : The CPI-M, the dominant partner of the ruling Left Front in Tripura, is worried over the growth and increased activities of RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP in the state, a party leader said.

"The RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Bajrang Dal and BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) are alluring people by misguiding and giving false promises to people to expand their base in Tripura," Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) central committee member Bijan Dhar told reporters.

JNU professor gets notice for addressing students

New Delhi : After students, the JNU administration on Friday served a notice to a professor for addressing a meeting two days back at the administrative block, where the offices of university officials are located.

Nivedita Menon, a professor of Comparative Politics and Political Thought at the School of International Studies (SIS), was served a warning by the administration when she spoke on Wednesday at a gathering comprising students and other professors against the suspension of 12 students.

Alert sounded in UP as SP 'war' gets ugly

Lucknow : A high alert has been sounded across Uttar Pradesh after the ongoing war in the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) turned for worse on Friday with expulsion of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav.

Officials said instructions have been sent to all District Magistrates and police chiefs following protests by Akhilesh supporters. Security meanwhile has been beefed up outside the SP headquarters in the state capital, the Chief Minister's residence, and the house of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
